After years of planning and preparation followed by 6 months of the event execution, the final day of Expo 2020 has come. Manlift has been involved throughout the project in many different capacities from providing expertise to assist with the execution and providing machines to the majority of Pavillions as well as directly to Expo to ensure working at height safely and efficiently.

Manlift were proud to be awarded an exclusive partnership with Expo 2020 after a strict evaluation process in which our Values, Expertise and the Manlift Way shone through. Being the exclusive AWP supplier for the “World’s Greatest Show” was a challenge that was a perfect match for the team. Manlift set up a dedicated team and committee including members from all key departments as well as an onsite team led by Roopesh Menayath, Technical and Logistics lead, supported by four technicians and ten recovery drivers. Over a year of devoted planning including onsite yard setup and pre-event rehearsals lead to flawless execution during the event.

With over 120 machines supplied during the event and over 200 machines supplied during the construction phase, Manlift were determined to ensure safe and efficient working at height at Expo 2020. In addition, we used this opportunity to focus our machine supply on our innovative and sustainable solutions derived to align with the Expo 2020 Theme. In particular our supply of electric and hybrid machines as a more sustainable solution.

John Hyatt, Manager of Operations Support Services for the Expo commented on the support of Manlift during Expo 2020,
