The first female IPAF Instructor in India
Manlift is proud to announce that V. Rachna has become the first female IPAF Instructor in India.
In a groundbreaking achievement, V. Rachna, currently serving as the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager at Manlift, has become India’s first female IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) instructor.
Manlift is the leading aerial work platform provider in the region and is steering the way for Women’s empowerment in the access platform Industry. V. Rachna’s dedication and commitment to safety have paved the way for her to achieve this mark.
We spoke briefly with Rachana about her experience of being the first female IPAF instructor in India:
How do you feel about this achievement?
Becoming a female IPAF instructor fills me with overwhelming accomplishment and joy. This journey represents the culmination of dedication, passion, and a relentless pursuit of my ambitions. It’s a profound honor to inspire other women to embrace their potential in a field where they might have felt underrepresented. I’m eager to contribute, mentor, and help others soar to new heights safely and professionally.
What role has Manlift played in this journey?
I am truly grateful for the opportunity that Manlift India has given me. Manlift India has organized several valuable training programs that have significantly contributed to my skill enhancement to achieve this goal. I have been fortunate to have mentors within the organization, especially Robert Cavaleri who not only analyzed my potential but also provided valuable guidance, shared his expertise, and helped me navigate challenges in professional development and completing my training.
