Manlift People – Mohsin Shaikh

Part two of the series takes us to the high-performance Commercial manager in Qatar – Mohsin Shaikh. He has been one of Manlift Qatar’s key team members having spent 8 fantastic years contributing to and driving the commercial performance of Manlift Group to our customers in Qatar. 

In July 2021, after a spell as Deputy Commercial Manager, Mohsin was promoted to Commercial Manager – AWP for Manlift Qatar. Since then he has transformed the department with developments in performance, customer service and client 
relationships.

With many years of operations and commercial experience in the industry, he took the lead of the team in a very competitive environment and provided solutions for many major projects across Qatar.  His strong worth ethic, hunger and desire are 
displayed in his leadership as he continuously drives the team to new heights. We are sure that Mohsin will continue to drive Manlift towards success in the Qatar region. We caught up with Mohsin to provide our customers with an insight into the Commercial Manager at Manlift Qatar.

What do you like about working at Manlift?

I absolutely love working in the Manlift culture where every member of the team strongly believes in the vision and mission of the organization. I had the opportunity to learn from management as they encouraged me to take on regular challenges under their guidance. I got the exposure and knowledge which I am always grateful for.

What does your job entail?

My job involves developing new/existing businesses and increasing profitability. Also, manage all operations and create a great team and winning culture within the company. Implementing the  Continuous improvement and Safety  culture within the Manlift Qatar team.

How has Manlift shaped you personally and professionally?

Manlift is a very process-driven organization, in fact, Manlift has gone a way ahead and compiled complete literature on the commercial approach. It has taught me to be disciplined and focused and more importantly be organized in both my  personal and professional life.
