In early 2020, the Manlift team in UAE committed to taking part in Al Noor Super Hero Fun Run in aid of Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination.
Due to the ongoing Global Pandemic known as COVID19, the fundraising event was forced to be cancelled. The loss of revenue arising from the current situation & event cancellation has left Al Noor facing a huge financial crisis. In efforts to avoid temporary shutting down of the Centre, they have launched a fundraising appeal.
The closing of the centre would result in 200+ students losing out on e-learning/rehabilitation services and 150 dedicated staff including 16 People of Determination losing their income. Discontinuation of rehabilitation services for the students of determination will result in major setbacks in their progress and sincerely impede their chances of independence and inclusion.
Manlift is pleased to support Al Noor during these difficult times to achieve their mission to provide all individuals with special needs, regardless of background, the same opportunity through professional training and care to realise their potential and integrate into the wider community. Through our donation as well as our participation in the rescheduled fundraising Fun Run event, we are pleased to give back and support others during such difficult times for those all over the globe.
